Organic Ebden Geese

We are pleased to say that our birds have florished this year and have grazed rather than come to the shed for wheat and barley.  I hope you notice the difference in the birds when you cook them this Christmas, you will not be able to find a more free range bird than one of these just by there nature.

Our geese are reared from parent stock kept at the farm with a small number of day old chicks purchased if required.

 

Young birds out on the range

The young geese lead as natural a life as possible being educated by the adult birds.  They spend up to 14 days under heat with access to fresh water and feed each day.  After this time they are normally ready to venture out to play on the pond or graze the herb rich pasture.

All geese are killed and dressed on the on farm slaughtering facility so you can be confident that you are buying the very best meat that can be produced.
